The Manitoba scored in the first on an error, , an RBI triple by Tristan Peters, an RBI double by Adam Senden, , , , a two-run error, a sacrifice fly by Peters, and an RBI single by Senden.

Senden racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Manitoba.

Matthew Besant brought the heat against the Newfoundland and Labrador during his outing. Besant held the Newfoundland and Labrador hitless over 2 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three.

Colin Parsons couldn't get it done on the hill for the Newfoundland and Labrador, taking a loss. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
