The Manitoba take out the Saskatchewan with help from Senden, 5-4

The Manitoba (1-0) beat the Saskatchewan (0-1) 5-4 in seven innings on Thursday at BBoys Vaughan Grove two behind Adam Senden, who went 2-3.

He doubled in the second inning and singled in the third inning.

Owen Harms had an impressive outing against the Saskatchewan's lineup. The Saskatchewan managed just one hit off of the the Manitoba's pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked none and struck out six during his three innings of work.

Brandon Logan did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Saskatchewan, reaching base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He tripled in the first inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Dylan Edmands brought the heat against the Manitoba during his outing. The Manitoba managed just one hit off of Edmands, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out one during his three innings of work.

Nolan King couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Saskatchewan, taking a loss. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
