Keegan Maronpot went 3-3 at the plate as the Elmira Pioneers (16-9) took home a 4-1 victory over the Adirondack Trail Blazers (10-16) in seven innings at Dunn Field on Saturday.
He doubled in the third innings and singled in the first and fifth innings.Kyano Cummings's nine strikeouts helped the Elmira Pioneers to the victory. Cummings allowed no earned runs, four hits and one walk over seven innings.
John OReilly couldn't get it done on the hill for the Adirondack Trail Blazers, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
