Mac Caples hit two home runs to carry the Baltimore Redbirds (24-11) to a 15-1 win over the Vienna River Dogs (18-15) at James Madison High School in eight innings.

The Baltimore Redbirds blew out the Vienna River Dogs thanks to 15 hits, including zero extra base hits. An RBI double by Gavin Sheets and a three-run home run by Nic Perkins helped the Baltimore Redbirds score four runs in the fifth. The Baltimore Redbirds had three hits in the inning.

Joey Sullivan recorded his third win of the year for the Baltimore Redbirds. He allowed one run over four innings. Sullivan struck out three, walked one and gave up four hits.

Brandon Withers (1-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed eight runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked six and struck out four.

The Baltimore Redbirds pounded the Vienna River Dogs pitching, as seven hitters combined for 13 hits, 14 RBIs and 14 runs scored.
