The Alexandria Aces (7-8) and the Baltimore Dodgers (5-11) both had scoring chances on Wednesday, but it was the Alexandria Aces that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 4-3 win at Joe Cannon Stadium.

The Alexandria Aces were led by Tad Sobieszczanski's hitting. Sobieszczanski went 3-4 and scored one run. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the first and sixth innings.

The Baltimore Dodgers couldn't get anything going so long as Kyle Menchaca was on the hill. The Baltimore Dodgers managed just two hits off of Menchaca, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his three innings of work.

Despite the loss, the Baltimore Dodgers' Brian Bauk dominated the Alexandria Aces' batters, giving up one run and striking out seven.

Jordan Menfee (1-1) took the loss for the Baltimore Dodgers. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
