The Springfield Sliders (19-21) built an early edge on Friday, but the Kokomo Jackrabbits (21-20) roared back to steal a 3-2 victory at Kokomo Municipal nStadium.

An RBI single by Reilly Hawkins gave the Kokomo Jackrabbits the lead in the fifth inning.

Felix Baez's 14 strikeouts helped the Kokomo Jackrabbits to the victory. Baez allowed two earned runs, four hits and two walks over seven innings.

Tanner Lupton was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out five, and allowed three runs.
