The West Palm Beach Sharks take out the Pompano Beach Clippers with help from Harper, 5-4

Thomas Harper went 2-3 and hit a home run as the West Palm Beach Sharks (2-2) took home a 5-4 victory over the Pompano Beach Clippers (5-1) at John I Leonard on Friday.

He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Dominic Danetti struck out five, paving the way for a the West Palm Beach Sharks win. Danetti allowed two earned runs on four hits and two walks over six innings.

A bright spot for the Pompano Beach Clippers in the defeat was Erik Wiebke, who allowed only one run while striking out six.

Jakeel Daniels racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Pompano Beach Clippers. He singled in the second inning and homered in the fourth inning.

Dominick Stefanacci ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked four, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
