The Bethesda Big Train (11-2)'s three first-inning runs built an early lead that helped bring home a 5-4 win over the Rockville Express (4-7) on Tuesday at Montgomery College.

The Bethesda Big Train scored in the first on a single by Zach Kirtley, a hit by pitch, , and a hit by pitch.

Kirtley did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Bethesda Big Train, reaching base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI.

Tyler Loptien recorded his second win of the year for the Bethesda Big Train. He allowed three runs over three innings. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered seven hits.

AJ Martucci (0-1) took the loss for the Rockville Express. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked four, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
