The Edmonds (34-12) didn't stand a chance on Sunday, as the Lower Columbia (40-9) captured a blowout 8-1 win at David Story Field.

The Lower Columbia scored four runs in the eighth on the Lower Columbia scored in the eighth on a two-run single by Ryan Enquist, an RBI double by Conner Switzer, and an RBI single by Kane Ulrich.

Enquist racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Lower Columbia.

Alex Torson picked up the win for the Lower Columbia. Torson allowed no earned runs, eight hits and one walk while striking out two over eight innings of work.

The Lower Columbia couldn't get anything going so long as Nick Johnston was on the hill. Johnston held the Lower Columbia hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Brian Way couldn't get it done on the hill for the Edmonds, taking a loss. He lasted just seven innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
