The Edmonds (34-11) and the Treasure Valley (33-17) both had scoring chances on Saturday, but it was the Edmonds that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 6-5 win at David Story Field.
The Treasure Valley had no answer for Blake Randazzo, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Treasure Valley managed just three hits off of Randazzo, who allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out one during his six innings of work.
A bright spot for the Treasure Valley in the defeat was Branden Cutsforth, who allowed only zero runs while striking out five.
Cody Carroll couldn't get it done on the mound for the Treasure Valley, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in 2 1/3 innings, walked three and struck out one.
