Jamie Umbinetti went 2-3 as the Edmonds (33-11) took home a 6-2 victory over the Walla Walla (31-17) at David Story Field on Friday.

Riley Storedahl's seven strikeouts were enough to push the Edmonds past the Walla Walla. Storedahl allowed two earned runs, six hits and no walks over 6 2/3 innings.

It was a good day at the plate for the Walla Walla's Clayten Ayres. Ayres went 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the second, fourth, and eighth innings.

Ayres was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
