The Top Speed Baseball (8-2) beat the Napa 19_apos;s 7-4 on Tuesday at Borman Field behind Vincent Rodriguez, who had three extra base hits.
He singled in the third inning and doubled in the fifth, eighth, and ninth innings.Chrit Rudkin pitched lights out for the Top Speed Baseball. Rudkin held the Napa 19_apos;s hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.
J Pridy reached base three times in the game for the Napa 19_apos;s. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the sixth inning.
The Top Speed Baseball were sparked by Rodriguez and Matt Martinez, who teamed up for five hits and five RBIs.
K Vandershoot couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Napa 19_apos;s, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in nine innings, walked nine and struck out nine.
