The Spokane (28-14) jumped out to an early lead on the SW Oregon (18-25) and captured a 10-2 victory on Friday at Minnitti Field .

Seven runs in the first three innings allowed the Spokane to put the game away early.

A sacrifice fly by Evan Douglas and an RBI single by Ryan Murkle during the first inning and a three-run error, a double by Douglas, , and a double by Lucas Denney in the second inning helped the Spokane put some runs on the board early.

Denney racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Spokane.

Adam Paulson picked up the win for the Spokane. Paulson allowed two earned runs, five hits and two walks while striking out two over nine innings of work.

The SW Oregon were led by Shey Smith's hitting. Smith went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Dalton Ridgway couldn't get it done on the bump for the SW Oregon, taking a loss. He allowed nine runs in five innings, walked five and struck out five.
