A great effort by Justin Adams led the Chemeketa (19-23) to a 5-0 win in seven innings over the Linn-Benton (20-22) on Saturday at Chemekera.

Adams held the Linn-Benton scoreless during his seven innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on two hits while striking out four.

Gerhett Moser racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Chemeketa. He singled in the fourth innings and doubled in the sixth inning.

A bright spot for the Linn-Benton in the defeat was Ian Scott, who allowed only three runs while striking out six.

Scott couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Linn-Benton, taking a loss.
