The Melville Millionaires (1-5) and the Swift Current Indians (2-4) both had scoring chances on Saturday, but it was the Melville Millionaires that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 5-4 win at Pirie Field.

Shoma Sasaki went a perfect 2-2 at the dish for the Melville Millionaires. He singled in the third and seventh innings.

Austin Stewart had an impressive outing against the Swift Current Indians' lineup. The Swift Current Indians managed just one hit off of Stewart, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.

Drew Brooks had a hot bat for the Swift Current Indians. Brooks went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning.

Kyle Loson improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Melville Millionaires. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered one hit.

Aaron Godinez couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Swift Current Indians, taking a loss. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed one run.
