Trey Smith held the Shoreline (15-15) scoreless for 6 2/3 innings to boost the Skagit Valley (15-18) to a 3-0 victory.

Smith allowed four hits, two walks and struck out nine.

Andrew Moore paced the Skagit Valley at the plate. Moore went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first, sixth, and eighth innings.

Myles Gouviea kept the Skagit Valley off the board during his seven innings of work. Gouviea struck out two and allowed no walks and three hits.

Nick Bruton got the win, running his season record to 1-3. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered one hit.

Max Dwyer was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
