Saturday was a great day for Dylan Cummiskey, as Cummiskey threw eight scoreless innings to carry the Town Dock (4-2) to a 4-1 victory over the RR Legion (4-2) at Cardines Field (Newport).

Even in defeat, Jason Martin played well for the RR Legion.

Martin led the RR Legion's offensive threat, as he got on base two times in the game. He doubled in the seventh inning.

Martin pitched lights out for the RR Legion. The Town Dock managed just two hits off of Martin, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out three during his three innings of work.

Brendan Teixera couldn't get it done on the hill for the RR Legion, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed four runs.
