Travess helps the Mt. Hood down the Everett 2-1

Taylor Travess went 1-1, helping the Mt. Hood (24-11) to a 2-1 victory over the Everett (18-14) on Friday at RAC (Lacey).

He singled in the third inning.

Joe Balfour picked up the win for the Mt. Hood. Balfour pitched six innings and allowed one earned run, five hits and no walks while striking out four.

Tate Budnick (0-1) took the loss for the Everett. He lasted just one inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed one run.
