Tanner Arrington went 2-3 as the Everett (18-13) took home a 2-1 victory over the Mt. Hood (23-11) in seven innings at RAC (Lacey) on Friday.
He doubled in the second inning and singled in the sixth inning.Travis Dohr had an impressive outing against the Mt. Hood's lineup. Dohr gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his two innings of work.
Thomas Lane was hot from the plate for the Mt. Hood. Lane went 1-2, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning.
Bryce Peterson improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Everett. Peterson struck out none, walked none and gave up no hits.
Seth Rayburn ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
