Clackamas vs Lane: 4-1

Boxscore | Game Recap | Boxscore Text Version | Gamelive Version

The Lane get on top of the Clackamas early but can't hang on in 4-1 loss

Story by Narrative Science.

The Lane (15-12) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 4-1 to the Clackamas (7-18) on Sunday.

While the Lane led until the fifth inning, the Clackamas worked their way back and took the lead on an error.

The Clackamas relied on Jacob Tipton to eat up innings en route to the win. Tipton pitched seven innings and allowed no earned runs, four hits and three walks while striking out five.

The Clackamas' lineup had no answer for Jalen Fuhriman. Fuhriman held the Clackamas hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Josh Overstreet was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed two runs.
