The Everett (14-12) beat the Douglas (6-10) 10-5 on Monday at Whalley Little League Park behind Tanner Arrington, who drove in four runs.
He singled in the fifth and ninth innings.Mitchell Jackman did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Douglas, reaching base four times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the first inning and singled in the seventh and ninth innings.
Brett Sakaki brought the heat against the Everett during his outing. The Everett managed just one hit off of the the Douglas' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out none during his three innings of work.
Tanner Braun got the win, running his season record to 4-1. He allowed three runs over six innings. Braun struck out eight, walked three and gave up five hits.
Matt Courneya (3-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked three and struck out two.
