He singled in the second, fourth, and sixth innings.Chris Van Meter boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace the Gaithersburg Giants. He tripled in the seventh inning and singled in the third and ninth innings.
Dakota Forsyth improved to 4-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Baltimore Redbirds. He allowed three runs over six innings. Forsyth struck out six, walked three and gave up five hits.
Chance Callihan couldn't get it done on the hill for the Gaithersburg Giants, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out seven, and allowed four runs.
