Jordan Sergent went 1-2, helping the Vienna River Dogs (19-16) to a 4-1 victory over the Rockville Express (17-20) on Sunday at James Madison High School.

Charlie Fletcher picked up the win for the Vienna River Dogs. Fletcher pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, three hits and two walks while striking out five.

The Vienna River Dogs had no answer for Ryan Leone, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Vienna River Dogs managed just two hits off of Leone, who allowed one earned run, walked four and struck out three during his five innings of work.

Andrew Valichka (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked three, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
