Pardo helps the Alexandria Aces down the D.C. Grays 5-2

Danny Pardo drove in three runs, sparking the Alexandria Aces (9-12) to a 5-2 victory over the D.C. Grays (10-18) on Monday at Washington Nationals Academy.

He doubled in the sixth innings and singled in the ninth inning.

Jake Wersinger had an impressive outing against the D.C. Grays' lineup. The D.C. Grays managed just two hits off of Wersinger, who allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out three during his six innings of work.

Kurt Sinnen got on base two times in the game for the D.C. Grays. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the ninth inning.

Connor Van Hoose (1-2) took the loss for the D.C. Grays. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out nine, and allowed three runs.
