Cameron Powers kept the Las Cruces Vaqueros (17-45) off the board during his nine innings of work and the White Sands Pupfish (36-25) beat the Las Cruces Vaqueros, 6-0.

Powers allowed eight hits, four walks and struck out four.

Everything was working at the plate for the the White Sands Pupfish in the third. In the inning the White Sands Pupfish scored four runs. The White Sands Pupfish scored in the third on an RBI single by Brandon Burkes, an RBI double by Joe Borowski, and a two-run triple by Aaron Nadon.

Wes Wallace racked up two RBIs on three hits for the White Sands Pupfish. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third and fourth innings.
