The Alpine Cowboys were led by Riley Smith's hitting. Smith went 4-6, drove in one and scored three runs. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third, seventh, and eighth innings.
Jake Taylor was hot from the plate for the Las Cruces Vaqueros. Taylor went 3-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first and sixth innings and doubled in the eighth inning.
Steven Johnson recorded his eighth win of the year for the Alpine Cowboys. He allowed one run over three innings. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered five hits.
Michael Ormseth couldn't get it done on the bump for the Las Cruces Vaqueros, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in seven innings, walked two and struck out nine.
