The Trinidad Triggers (37-15) and the Santa Fe Fuego (27-17) both had scoring chances on Friday, but it was the Trinidad Triggers that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 5-4 win at Central Park.

Caleb Bryson boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace the Trinidad Triggers. He singled in the second, fourth, and fifth innings.

David Brandt had a hot bat for the Santa Fe Fuego. Brandt went 2-3 and scored one run. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the fourth inning.

Matt Horan improved to 8-3 on the year by picking up the win for the Trinidad Triggers. He allowed four runs over six innings. He struck out five, walked four and surrendered nine hits.

Scott Torrey (2-1) took the loss for the Santa Fe Fuego. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
