The Garden City Wind (8-18) had a tough outing on Monday, as the Santa Fe Fuego (14-7) dominated in an 11-4 win at Fort Marcy Park.

Tyler Lundgren got on base two times in the game for the Garden City Wind. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the sixth inning.

Cody Spriggins recorded his fourth win of the year for the Santa Fe Fuego. He allowed four runs over seven innings. Spriggins struck out six, walked two and gave up eight hits.

Josh Wright ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked one and struck out two.
