The Alexandria Aces (6-8) beat the Herndon Braves (5-7) 7-2 on Monday at Frank Mann Field behind Malcolm Nachmanoff, who went 2-4 and hit a home run.
He singled in the second inning and homered in the third inning.The Alexandria Aces relied on Gabriel Mosser to eat up innings en route to the win. Mosser allowed one earned run, six hits and two walks while striking out five over six innings of work.
Alex Lipman was hot from the plate for the Herndon Braves. Lipman went 3-4 and scored two runs. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the third and seventh innings.
