Zach Flowers kept the Gaithersburg Giants (0-9) off the board during his 5 2/3 innings of work and the Baltimore Redbirds (9-1) beat the Gaithersburg Giants, 11-0.

Flowers allowed one hit, one walk and struck out three.

The Baltimore Redbirds' bats came to life in the second inning. In the inning the Baltimore Redbirds scored six runs. The Baltimore Redbirds scored in the second on a two-run error, an RBI single by Zach Jancarski, an error, an RBI single by Stuart Fairchild, and a sacrifice fly by Ben Breazeale.

Mac Caples led the Baltimore Redbirds' offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Braden Pearson was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in three innings, walked one and struck out two.
