The Vienna River Dogs (13-10) didn't have a chance on Thursday, as the Herndon Braves (10-12) won in blowout fashion, 13-6 at Herndon High School.

The Herndon Braves scored four runs in the fourth on the Herndon Braves scored in the fourth on a two-run double by Alan Mocahbee, an RBI triple by Ryan Owens, and an RBI single by Logan Augustine.

Owens racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Herndon Braves.

Tyler Tharp went a perfect 2-2 at the plate for the Vienna River Dogs. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

Chris Lohr improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Herndon Braves. He allowed three runs over three innings. He struck out two, walked three and surrendered one hit.

Nicholas Brady (0-1) took the loss for the Vienna River Dogs. He allowed nine runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out two.
