Shaun Wood had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the third inning and tripled in the eighth inning.

Brandon Jean improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Vienna River Dogs. Jean struck out none, walked none and gave up no hits.
