The Vienna River Dogs (2-0) needed 10 innings on Wednesday to take down the Rockville Express (1-1) 5-2 at Montgomery College.

With the score tied at two, reached on an error, plating Andrew Zitel.

Nicholas Brady allowed no earned runs, four hits and two walks while striking out two over six innings of work.

Alex Cuas brought the heat against the Vienna River Dogs during his outing. The Vienna River Dogs managed just three hits off of Cuas, who allowed two earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his five innings of work.

Denis Mikush improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Vienna River Dogs. He allowed one run over two innings. He struck out six, walked none and surrendered two hits.

Matt Schaeffer couldn't get it done on the bump for the Rockville Express, taking a loss. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked four, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
