The Baltimore Redbirds (6-1) used a four-run explosion in the seventh inning to get past the Gaithersburg Giants (0-7) 10-2 on Wednesday at Criswell Automotive Field.

The Baltimore Redbirds scored in the seventh on an RBI single by Logan Warmoth, an RBI single by Mac Caples, a groundout by Garrett Hudson, and an RBI double by Cody Sherlin.

Warmoth racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Baltimore Redbirds.

Jason Morgan pitched lights out for the Baltimore Redbirds. The Gaithersburg Giants managed just two hits off of Morgan, who allowed two earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his five innings of work.

Nick Egli was hot from the plate for the Gaithersburg Giants. Egli went 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the fifth, sixth, and eighth innings.

Brady Adam (0-2) took the loss for the Gaithersburg Giants. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
