Peter Rivera went 4-4 at the plate as the Phipps Park Barracudas (11-8) took home a 5-4 victory over the Coral Springs Royals (8-12) at Forrest Hill H.S. on Wednesday.

He doubled in the first inning and singled in the fourth, sixth, and eighth innings.

The Coral Springs Royals couldn't get anything going so long as Ryan Caporice was on the hill. Caporice held the Coral Springs Royals hitless over five innings, allowed two earned runs, walked six and struck out five.

Colin Taylor couldn't get it done on the hill for the Coral Springs Royals, taking a loss. He lasted just eight innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
