The South Florida Huskies (3-3) beat the Coral Springs Royals (2-5) 11-6 on Saturday at Coral Glades Sportsplex behind Nick Rodriquez, who collected three hits.

He homered in the third inning and singled in the sixth and ninth innings.

Gus Cinquino pitched lights out for the South Florida Huskies. The Coral Springs Royals managed just two hits off of Cinquino, who allowed one earned run, walked none and struck out two during his four innings of work.

Britton Araujo racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Coral Springs Royals. He homered in the fifth inning and singled in the third and eighth innings.

Mark Ramcharitar improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the South Florida Huskies. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered no hits.

Zach Pernick (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked four and struck out four.
