Alex Cabrera went 3-3 at the plate, helping the Delray Beach Lightning (9-9) to a 4-2 victory over the Palm Beach Blazers (7-11) on Monday at Miller Park.

He singled in the second, fifth, and eighth innings.

Ethan Hanson handled the Palm Beach Blazers' lineup with ease, racking up four strikeouts. The Delray Beach Lightning's pitcher gave up just five hits over four shutout innings.

A bright spot for the Palm Beach Blazers in the defeat was Zach Lawrence, who allowed only three runs while striking out eight.

Austin Hamilton recorded his second win of the year for the Delray Beach Lightning. He allowed two runs over four innings. Hamilton struck out five, walked none and gave up three hits.

Zack Chappell ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
