Second-inning rally sparks blowout win for the Palm Beach Xtreme, 7-0

The Palm Beach Xtreme (18-13) blew out the South Florida Huskies 7-0 on Wednesday at Coral Springs High School after pouring on five runs in the second inning.

The Palm Beach Xtreme scored in the second on an RBI triple by Connor Rowland, an RBI single by Nick Oberg, a solo home run by Ricky Negron, a two-run home run by Negron, and an RBI single by A.J. Fidalic.

Negron racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Palm Beach Xtreme.

Chaz Kaps held the South Florida Huskies (12-12) scoreless during his four innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on two hits while striking out none.

William Bahder brought the heat against the Palm Beach Xtreme during his outing. The Palm Beach Xtreme managed just one hit off of Bahder, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his two innings of work.

Nick Alonzo ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed one run.
