The Columbia Basin make the most of 7 hits in 6-3 victory over the Tacoma

The Columbia Basin (7-1) and the Tacoma (7-5) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Columbia Basin that eventually took advantage of them in a 6-3 win at Columbia Basin Baseball Field.

Hayden Meier reached base three times in the game for the Columbia Basin. He singled in the sixth inning.

Alex Hull led the Tacoma's offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the third, seventh, and ninth innings.

Evan Harder got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He allowed one run over 4 2/3 innings. Harder struck out four, walked three and gave up six hits.

Zach Rohrbach ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
