The Skagit Valley (9-9) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 5-3 to the Clark (9-11) on Sunday.

The Clark took the lead in the sixth inning on an RBI single by Bret Moskal.

Sam Kosbab racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Clark. He tripled in the sixth inning.

Nathan Lainhart allowed one earned run, seven hits and two walks while striking out five over seven innings of work.

Scott Doucet recorded his first win of the year for the Clark. He allowed two runs over 1 2/3 innings. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered two hits.

Peter Bovenkamp was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just eight innings, walked five, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
