A seven-run explosion in the third inning carried the Victor RailRiders (26-23) to a 10-3 win over the Elmira Pioneers (32-17) at Victor High School on Wednesday.

Matt Fallon got on base three times in the game for the Victor RailRiders. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the first inning and homered in the sixth inning.

Eoin McAvinchey improved to 1-3 on the year by picking up the win for the Victor RailRiders. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out five, walked four and surrendered five hits.

Justin Lewis was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
