Matt Pagano went 1-5, sparking the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs (31-18) to a 6-4 victory over the Newark Pilots (20-29) on Wednesday at Colburn Park.

Lucas Godlewski recorded his first win of the year for the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs. He allowed four runs over 6 2/3 innings. Godlewski struck out seven, walked one and gave up nine hits.
Patrick Ryan couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Newark Pilots, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked none, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
