The Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs (30-18) beat the Adirondack Trail Blazers (17-31) 3-0 in seven innings on Tuesday at Veterans Memorial Park behind Ryan Stekl, who went 1-3 and hit a home run.

Marcus Failing brought the heat against the Adirondack Trail Blazers during his outing. The Adirondack Trail Blazers managed just two hits off of the the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his three innings of work.

Adam Ashenfarb improved to 5-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs. Ashenfarb struck out three, walked one and gave up two hits.

Jason Zongrone couldn't get it done on the mound for the Adirondack Trail Blazers, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
