Handsome Monica had two extra base hits as the Amsterdam Mohawks (36-10) took home a 9-6 victory over the Glens Falls Dragons (21-25) at East Field on Saturday.

Tyler Smith had an impressive outing against the Glens Falls Dragons' lineup. Smith held the Glens Falls Dragons hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Mark Powell racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Glens Falls Dragons. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Christian Maldonado recorded his second win of the year for the Amsterdam Mohawks. He allowed two runs over one inning. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered one hit.

Michael Sinnott was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed four runs.

The Amsterdam Mohawks' Monica, Justin Yurchak, Aidan McDermott and Hunter Tackett combined for eight hits and five RBIs.
