A walk-off single from Mark Cardinalli brought home the winning run for the Victor RailRiders (19-18) in a 2-1 victory over the Glens Falls Dragons in 11 innings at Victor High School on Thursday.
Cardinalli racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Victor RailRiders. He singled in the first, sixth, and eleventh innings.
Chris Lehane reached base five times in the game for the Victor RailRiders. He singled in the first and fifth innings.
The Glens Falls Dragons (19-19) had no answer for Chris Kemp, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Kemp held the Glens Falls Dragons hitless over 2 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four.
Drue Brooks was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out none, and allowed one run.
