Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Thursday as the Elmira Pioneers (25-13) outscored the Saugerties Stallions (11-26) 16-10.

The teams totaled 31 hits in the game.

The Elmira Pioneers left no doubt in the outcome with five runs in the fourth. The Elmira Pioneers scored in the fourth on an RBI single by Josh Lovelady, an RBI single by Tommy Mirabelli, a single by Mirabelli, , a single by Sam Clark, a fielder's choice, a fielder's choice, and a groundout by Will LaRue.

Christian Santisteban racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Elmira Pioneers. He tripled in the first innings and singled in the fourth inning.

Kyano Cummings recorded his fourth win of the year for the Elmira Pioneers. He allowed one run over six innings. He struck out nine, walked two and surrendered six hits.

Phil Zdanowski couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Saugerties Stallions, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in three innings, walked one and struck out four.
