Pitchers had a tough day during the game between the Adirondack Trail Blazers (13-21) and the Utica Brewers (16-20), as the two teams put up 23 runs combined in a 15-8 the Adirondack Trail Blazers win.

The Adirondack Trail Blazers stamped out any hope for the Utica Brewers with seven runs in the seventh. The Adirondack Trail Blazers scored in the seventh on a sacrifice fly by Brad Jones, a double by Ryan Paige, , a double by Ryan Dorow, , and a triple by Chris Kwitzer.

Kwitzer racked up six RBIs on three hits for the Adirondack Trail Blazers.

Taylor Olmstead had a hot bat for the Utica Brewers. Olmstead went 2-4 and scored two runs. He singled in the second and eighth innings.

Will Jahn got the win, running his season record to 2-1. He allowed two runs over six innings. Jahn struck out three, walked two and gave up eight hits.

Peter Beattie couldn't get it done on the mound for the Utica Brewers, taking a loss. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked five, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
