Four first-inning runs helped the Adirondack Trail Blazers (12-21) to a 7-3 win over the Saugerties Stallions (11-25) at Robert Smith Sports Complex on Wednesday.
Ryan Dorow was hot from the plate for the Adirondack Trail Blazers. Dorow went 2-4 and scored two runs. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the seventh inning.
Taylor Luckenbill had a hot bat for the Saugerties Stallions. Luckenbill went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the fourth inning and homered in the fifth inning.
Zach Crim improved to 4-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Adirondack Trail Blazers. He allowed three runs over six innings. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered six hits.
Anthony Rocco (2-3) took the loss for the Saugerties Stallions. He allowed six runs in 6 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out six.
