The Newark Pilots (9-11) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 3-2 to the Victor RailRiders (9-10) on Wednesday.

An RBI double by Brady Acker gave the Victor RailRiders the lead in the fifth inning.

Jesse Bogacz improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Victor RailRiders. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out five, walked one and surrendered five hits.

Patrick Ryan was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked four, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
