The Glens Falls Dragons take out the Albany Dutchmen with help from Vieth, 7-4

Jake Vieth had two extra base hits, helping the Glens Falls Dragons (9-10) to a 7-4 victory over the Albany Dutchmen (8-10) on Wednesday at CPSC-Bob Bellizzi Field.

He doubled in the fifth and seventh innings.

Grayson Lewis led the Albany Dutchmen's offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the first and fifth innings.

Drue Brooks got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed one run over one inning. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered two hits.

Gavin Wallace couldn't get it done on the mound for the Albany Dutchmen, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked one and struck out four.

The Glens Falls Dragons were sparked by Vieth and David Sarmiento, who teamed up for four hits and five RBIs.
